Running out of gas in the middle of nowhere was not
Alison's idea of fun. She had planned to meet her girl friends for
a pool party weekend two hours ago, but had got hopelessly lost and had
now run out of gas. The party was being held at a rented house in a remote area of New Mexico. Her friends, who had a detailed map of how to get there, had left Santa Fe that morning, but Alison had decided to come later as she had a modelling job to finish that afternoon. Now she was totally lost, out of gas and also out cell-phone range! It seemed like an hour, but it can't have been that long until Alison heard an engine in the distance. A truck pulled up containing 3 female soldiers who offer to give her lift to get some gas. |
