| Jo and Ellen were on the final leg of a
European tour that had taken them to 20 cities in 12
different countries. It had been a highly
successful tour, with Jo and Ellen winning all of their
fights so far. Between them they had amassed about
150,000 Australian dollars, but they were tired after 6
weeks on the road and were looking forward to catching
the flight back home to Sydney the next day. In
fact, Jo and Ellen should have been on the plane heading
home for Sydney that night, but Jo had been offered this
extra solo fight in Madrid for a sum that she just could
not refuse. So they had rearranged their flights to
