Hi, my name is David.  I work as a computer technician for a living, but in my spare time I like to referee women's wrestling and boxing matches.  These days I am pretty busy with all the femfight clubs and other organisations that have opened in the US in recent years.

Tonight I am a bit nervous.  I'm referee my first international boxing match in the Ring of Flames arena.  It is a prestige event and I don't want to make any mistakes, so I am a bit keyed up.

I get to the ring ahead of the two fighters and then invite them to join me in the ring.  I see the fighters for the first time as they approach the ring; they are both athletic, muscular women who have chosen to fight in the nude.

One thing the referee experiences that the crowd rarely can is the smell of the combatants.  At the start of the fight it is usually the smell of soap or perfume, but by the end of the fight it is often the smell of sweat and blood.  As I introduce myself to the two fighters I get my first impressions about them from the smell.  Tara, the Mexican kick boxer, smells sweetly of soap and body lotion; while Talia, the Russian fighter, smells of a  combination of sweat and muscle rub.  If I had to bet on which one would win I would put my money on the Russian - she smells like trouble!

Personal introduction over, I take the microphone and turn to the crowd to introduce the match.
