Early the morning after the argument, Jan and the two ladies met in the courtyard, dressed far more appropriately for a physical altercation.  Both ladies were still plenty angry and ready to tear into each other.  Jan had hoped that the overnight rest and the change clothes would have calmed tempers, but that certainly had not happened.
