Part 4: Lydia's initiation |

This tells the story of a time in Lydia's youth when she
was employed as a Governess in the household of the French Ambassador in
London. One summer's day the whole family and servants had gone
out leaving Lydia alone in the house with the Ambassador's oldest
children - the twins Patrice and Celeste. Lydia got into a fight
with Patrice, but later Celeste joined the fray in her own battle with
