As Titus strolled across the arena his opponent appeared
at the small gate on the other side of the arena. She stood still for a
moment boldly surveying the arena as if searching for her prey. The Master of the Arena introduced her to the crowd as "Germanica" a warrior princess who had been captured in battle in the lands north of the river Rhine. |
