With the introduction complete the two fighters turn to face
each other for the traditional staredown. They stare intently at
each other without a word being exchanged, neither seem willing to
break the staredown. The Hood knows this is not the best time to face an opponent like the Mohican, but she accepts the situation as the true champ that she is. Her age is beginning to take its toll - she is 34 now and has been pedestal champion for the past 2 years. She knows that her reign must end soon and is considering retiring after this event or maybe the next one. She wants to leave this arena as the champ rather than being hauled out upside down, hanging by her ankles from the hoist like a rag doll. |
