| After several days of
travelling Seum and Tor at last approach the Oracle's cages where they
see a number of figures awaiting their arrival. They discover that
the outcast's companion from part 3 of the story has arrived before them
and she challenges Tor to a fight for his place as Seum's assistant.
Tor and the outcast's fight is followed by Seum's initiation into the
