The
woman stared intently at Stephens. Finally, she spoke. “My client requires
total discretion – what happens here stays here. Right?"
Stephens
smiled. “Right.”
“Your
fee is $500,” the athletic woman continued, “for one hour of anything goes
wrestling.”
Stephens
smiled again. “Right again, anything goes.”
“Good,”
the other woman replied. “I’ll be back in ten minutes. ”

Jody
Stephens watched the woman leave her gym. Jody, still only in her early
twenties, had a remarkable fighting pedigree. Her mother, whom she hadn’t seen
in years, was the legendary and somewhat mysterious Sue Stephens, a former pro
wrestler and current shootfighter. Her grandparents had also been pro
wrestlers. Born in a small Northern Ontario, Canada town, she quickly
discovered wrestling, both Greco-Roman in high school and wrestling in the bars
and camps of the tough logging community she lived in.
Stephens
quickly became a top-ranked Canadian wrestler, even making it the National
Finals twice. Both times, though, she lost to girls not nearly as strong or
aggressive or skilled; she quickly realized amateur wrestling wasn’t for her.
Her
family genetics also provided here with a remarkable physique, soon
supplemented by a rigorous weight training and body building regime. It wasn’t
long before she became a world-ranked bodybuilder – while still in her late
teens!
But
she missed the contact, the thrill of beating another woman, and so started
session wrestling a few years back. It was, she soon realized, far more lucrative
than bodybuilding. With her incredible physique, stunning looks and wrestling
skill, she was able to charge $500 per hour. She traveled the world wrestling,
and never turned down a match against another woman.
