It has been several months since Hippolyte had totally
defeated and humiliated Hercules in both strength and fighting contests.
Now Zeus, King of the Gods has demanded revenge for Hercules'
humiliation. He has summoned Atlas, greatest of the Titans, to Mt.
Olympus to avenge Hercules. Atlas has appeared, beyond confident. He's
ridiculed Hercules saying that he Atlas will never fall victim to any
mortal in any competition. That a woman could be stronger than he is
beyond reason. He promises Zeus that he will win and for his reward he
will be the new King of the Amazons; that Hippolyte will be subjugated
as a slave and that he Atlas become a God on Mt. Olympus. Zeus has
agreed, much to the chagrin of Hercules who himself demands a second
chance at Hippolyte. Zeus denies his request, but Hercules will disobey
Zeus as we shall soon see. Atlas is advised of Amazon customs, both of strength & fighting competitions and that they will be nude. Atlas laughs, saying that once Hippolyte gazes upon the majesty of his body and his manhood, she'll be both too scared and weak to resist! Atlas departs and then appears on the island of the Amazons, nude standing next to a what appears as 2 massively huge stone globes attached by a stone rod. He has already confronted an Amazon demanding that Hippolyte appear before him to accept his challenges. Hippolyte has heard the arrogant boasts, has arrived cloaked on the beach. They confront each other, the story starts...... |
