Celine:  This is my daughter Bernadette, but we call her Bernie. She is 19 and has just finished at college and has now joined the gym.  She is a beginner like you, so I think she will make a good opponent for you at the end of the 10 day course.  I will be trainer her as Mary Lou is training you, so it will also be a test of our training systems.
Jenny:  Bernie - you look pretty fit!  Are you sure you haven't fought before.
Bernie:  I was in the athletics team at college, but I haven't done any fighting before.  So this will the first time for me!
