Continued from part 2:
At the end of her fight against Leeha, it looked bad for Sancha when she
was wheeled out of the arena still unconsciousness and wearing a neck
support. She was rush by ambulance to the local ER centre, where
it was found that her neck was OK,
but she was quite badly concussed. When she was released from hospital
a few days later, she and Marco returned to the hotel
to find an envelope waiting for them at reception. It contained a check for
$100,000 and a challenge for Sancha to fight Leeha's niece, Monique, for
the same prize money, etc as she had fought Leeha. The letter also
offered to meet Sancha and Marco's expenses for their stay in Japan
while Sancha recovered and prepared for her fight with Monique.
After some debate Sancha decided to take up the offer.
Some days later another letter arrived at the hotel with a check to
cover their expenses and also with a pair of tickets to the "Aqua
Gladiators" tournament that was taking place in the city the next week.
A note attached to the tickets said that Monique was expected to take
part in the tournament. |
