Continued from part 4:
A week after watching the "Aqua Gladiator" event Sancha and Marco
returned to the TV station where Sancha's fight with Leeha had been
held. Again they were
taken to the dressing rooms, where the producer and his legal assistant
went through the rules of the fight:
- The fight was to last one hour unless stopped due to a
disabling injury or retirement.
- The fee for the fight was set at $100,000 for one hour of actual
fighting (not including breaks, etc)
- If a fighter stopped the fight early then she would only be paid a
proportion of the fee (e.g. 1/2 the fight = 1/2 fee)
- Points would be awarded for a pin to a count of 3 (1 pt), a submission
(1 pt) and a KO to a count of 10 (2 pts).
- Each fighter's prize money would be determined by the points they had
been awarded ($10,000 per point)
- There would be a 3 minute break after each pin or submission.
- There would be a 5 minute break after a KO at that point the fighter
could decide whether to continue.
- The fighters would be naked.
- Fighters could use any hold or blow - anything was legal in this
fight.
Once all these points had been covered, Sancha signed the legal document
agreeing to the fight and its conditions. The
producer and his assistant then withdrew and Sancha stripped off her
clothes and put on a robe. A few minutes later she and Marco were
led to the studio which had been set in same way as for the fight
against Leeha. |
