| Although I have been refereeing women's boxing and wrestling matches for more years than I care to remember, I still get anxious when I am called upon to referee a grudge match. Things can easily get out of hand and the fighters can be difficult to control. So I was especially nervous when I was called upon to referee a grudge match between Cherie "Kiddo" Kozanik and Tracy "Ripper" Franklin at the main arena in downtown Boosterville. There was very bad blood between these two fighters that had failed to be resolved by a previous grudge match which had resulted in the Referee being KO'd by Cherie! Actually Cherie had a very bad reputation in general with referees and several of my colleagues had refused to referee any match with her. So it was with trepidation that I stepped into the ring that evening to referee this grudge fight! | ||
