"Each fighter has two lives which they can surrender to pause or stop the fight.  Giving up the first life earns a break of five minutes, giving up the second ends the match.  I will deduct a life from a fighter if she takes more than 10 seconds to return to the fight.  The winning fighter is the one that ends the fight with a life or lives remaining.
